St Ethelwold’s House offers welcoming accommodation in a uniquely interesting historic house, situated in one of the most attractive historic streets in southern England, and with gardens on the banks of the River Thames.  The atmosphere is informal and friendly and suits professional individuals, tourist visitors and families.

Rooms and Rates

We have single and double rooms and a family room which includes a kitchenette. Each room has character and charm and all are non-smoking. None of our rooms have en-suite facilities but there are several bathrooms fitted out to a high standard.

(Please note that all our bedrooms are accessed via stairs. We do not have staff staying overnight on site.)

Prices depend on the type of room, the number of guests in one room and the length of stay.  Prices range from £30 to £115 per night, but the majority of guests pay £50 for a single room or £85 for a double room.

 

 

Breakfast
We don’t offer breakfast with our rooms, but there are several excellent cafes nearby.

Parking
There is no parking on-site; there is pay and display parking on the street and in a nearby car park.

Longer tenancies
Some of the larger rooms and a small self-contained flat are also available on short term tenancies. Please enquire for prices and availability.
