Celebrating Kindness at St Eths Tea Garden
In June, the Jo Cox Foundation is celebrating The Great Get-Together – with the aim of helping people to make new, meaningful connections with others
As part of this on Tuesday June 27th, we’ll be Celebrating Kindness at our Tuesday afternoon Tea Garden at St Ethelwolds House. We’ll be offering FREE TEA, COFFEE AND SQUASH to everyone and there will be delicious cakes and other goodies to buy too. The gardens are looking specially lovely at the moment.
Maybe as part of your afternoon with us you could even get to chat to someone new to you – and make a connection in that way? We look forward to seeing lots of you there from 2.30 – 4.00 pm on Tuesday 27th June at St Ethelwolds House, 30 East St Helen’s Street, ABINGDON

We were delighted to be invited to partner in putting on this event, as old friends Heather-Jane and Isabel explained:
We are wondering if St Ethelwolds would like to partner with us in a music and storytelling event, bringing faith groups together. One of our peace partners, Hanna Yaffe, is over from Jerusalem, so we are building our events around her participation. We hope to bring communities together to create relationships, harmony and understanding.Doesn’t it sound good? – do join us on Tuesday 31st if you can, and do share the posters and invitation with others. If you want to reserve a space in advance please email Heather-Jane at info@spiritofpeace.co.uk. On the night seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
